The face behind
BENEFITS Personal Training
Owner & Trainer, BENEFITS Personal Training
My name is Jenn.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
At just 19 years of age, I started BENEFITS Personal Training with a passion I still possess 6 years later - a fierce desire to remind people of their value and to transform that into everyday joy. I believe a big part of this can be achieved through healthy living - exercise, good eating and learning to love ourselves - for where we're at and where we want to be. Whether through my inability to sit still as a kid or from participating in competitive cheerleading for over 8 years, being healthy and active has always played a role in my life. At the age of 13 I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, a disease that would lead me to this fulfilling career of empowering people to live their healthiest life along with encouraging individuals who are dealing with their own battles in health and wellness.
I created BENEFITS Personal Training in June of 2013 with the goal of providing a genuine approach to the way I train every client that comes my way. I dedicate my life to enabling and empowering people to live their very best life, a life they find pride in. I seek to inspire you to become your best you, along with teach you sustainable lifestyle habits that not only increase your longevity, but overall enjoyment of life.
"I desire to create a community of people of different ages and fitness levels who engage in a collective of interests and goals. When we inspire one another to pursue living at our best, most whole versions of ourselves, we thrive. Let’s empower one another to believe in our unlimited potential and help support one another in the pursuit of our independent goals. I truly believe life gets better when we take the time to take care of ourselves.”
Outside of BENEFITS Personal Training, I love traveling (some of my favorite places include Norway, Scotland and South Africa). I also enjoy hobby photography, am an avid foodie, and will never say no to a good book in a quiet coffee shop.
